Course Venue: A picturesque hotel in the heart of the High Tatras with the possibility of wellness

Course`s content:

  • Development of the school education plan with respect to the international project plan of the school
  • How to implement the international project into the curriculum of the school
  • How to develop the project competencies of teachers in international projects
  • How to develop and implement STEM projects at international level SCIENTIX, GoLab Ecosystem
  • How to collaborate digitally through online databases
  • How to get involved in V4 projects
  • How to build a multilateral, bilateral Erasmus + project
  • Advantages and disadvantages of international projects with an impact on building a school image
  • How to build the ability to become a good coordinator of international projects

Course methods:

  • General information on trends in international projects and the presentation of 4 types of international cooperations
  • Create a scheme of their own international project: work in groups or individually to create a real output for the needs of your own school
  • Course participants will share experiences and insights from the projects

Course confirmation:

  • The participant will be granted a certificate of active participation together with a guaranteed number of hours
  • If necessary, it will be translated into English
  • The participants will receive a certificate of competences in the European Mobility Passport

COURSE PROGRAM:

Sunday:

Introducing and welcoming to the course • Welcome and opening the course • Practical information about the course • Knowing the course participants • Individual needs of the course participants and the profile of their school • What direction they want to lead for in the international project.

Monday:

Presentation of the V4 project • Aspects of good practice examples • Analysis of the implementation of such a project at your school • Application form and necessary documentation for the implementation of this model international project • Creation of a management team • Discussion and individual interview • Benefits of such a project at school

Tuesday:

Presentation of a Scientix international project • Aspects of good practice examples • Model situation of placing such a project in the curriculum of the subject at school • Terms of implementation of such a project and its contribution to use at school • Scientix international network of ambassadors and their efforts to disseminate results in individual countries • Principes of Go-Lab EcoSystem and how to use its interface • Discussion or individual interview • Benefits of such a project at school

Wednesday:

Presentation of the on-line project  platform • Demonstration of good practice and use examples • Quality of the international project and integration into the learning process • Presentation of the international  community • Analysis of the applicability of the project on the school ground • Self-learning platform and its use in teacher growth • Discussion and individual interview • The benefits of such a project at school

Thursday:

Introduction to Erasmus + • Good examples of KA2 and KA1 projects • Scool Education Gateway • Good tips for writing a successful application • Creating a management team • Analyzing the usefulness and benefits of the KA1 project • Analyzing the usefulness and benefits of the KA2 project • How to disseminate project results and which platforms to use

Friday:

Work on the selected project type • Building a project website • Practical hand-on activities focused on individual project needs • Dissemination of tasks and activities in the project • Using on-line discussion platforms to communicate about project plans - webex

Saturday:

The most common Web 0.2 tools for project implementation • Reflection of project requirements by type of school • Presentation of projects by participants and their evaluation • Good advice from other course participants • Final product as a project • Course evaluation, certificate handing and farewell • Free discussion and friendly exchange of impressions and take a look and a photo
